Mainline Wins IBM Leadership awards IBM's PartnerWorld 2007 conference held in April, Mainline was presented with the IBM Business Leadership Award and the IBM Revenue Growth Leadership Award, along with the IBM Beacon Award for SMB Teaming solution. The IBM Business Leadership Award recognizes IBM Premier Business Partners who distinguish themselves among their peers. Only 17 companies received this award from among more than 3,000 firms selling IBM servers in the Americas. Winners are selected for their excellence in key areas, including commitment to IBM, competence, customer satisfaction and contribution in the form of business results. The IBM Revenue Growth Leadership Award is given to IBM Business Partners with the highest revenue growth from the prior year.

Mainline, IBM and Binghamton University...

Steve DeLuca, VP of Sales, Northeast for Mainline Information Systems, together with representatives from the Southern Tier Opportunity Coalition (STOC), IBM and Binghamton University (BU) announced the launch of the Linux Technology Center (LTC) on March 30, 2006 at BU in Vestal, NY.  Equipped with cutting edge equipment donated from IBM, the LTC is not only a technology center that the students can use to learn, but it is also a center around which businesses can leverage to improve themselves. The center could become a national center of expertise in research and development as well as an economic catalyst for the area attracting new industries to the region.  DeLuca has been working very closely with Len Santalucia, Linux Consultant for IBM and BU alumnus, as well as Merwyn Jones, Director of BU LTC on this joint collaboration.  Jones has a 28-year career at IBM and is currently on loan to BU from IBM for two years.
